Chief Minister will distribute rights records in Swamitva Yojana

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will distribute rights records to 3 lakh 70 thousand people of 27 districts under the Swamitva Yojana on Wednesday. Revenue Minister Govind Singh Rajput informed that in the state level programme in Rewa on Wednesday, physical distribution of rights-letters of their land to the people of 27 districts will be held.

Revenue Minister Rajput informed that so far rights records have been distributed to a total of 2 lakh 71 thousand beneficiaries in the state. On the completion of 20 years of public welfare and good governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi physically distributed rights records to 01 lakh 71 thousand beneficiaries in 3 thousand villages of 19 districts under this scheme in Harda district on October 6, 2021.

The Revenue Minister said that through the Survey of India, under the Swamitva Yojana, maps of the habitation areas in villages are being prepared through drones and on this basis rights records are being prepared through door-to-door survey.

He said that the process of survey is being started in 52 districts of the state under the scheme. In the first phase, in the year 2020, 10 thousand villages of 10 districts were selected.

In the second and third phases, work was started in about 30 thousand villages of total 30 districts. After this, the process of survey was started in 12 districts in the fourth phase.

At present, 39 drones are being used for survey work, out of which the work has been completed in 27 districts.

The Revenue Minister said that while making the survey rules simpler, electronic documents have been validated as the legal documents.

Completing the survey work in time-limit, making the rights records transparent, the Patwaris can link the name of the plot holder with the plot on the spot with the implementation of the process through app and web.

For the purpose of adopting this process, parties from other states have visited the state. Harda district has achieved the target of completing the survey work in 10 months.
