Govt to give assistance to Kesh Shilpis to adopt modern methods of work: CM
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sen Samaj has an important role in connecting the proletarian society. Historically, in the course of social development, the trust that the people of Sen community have earned for themselves is a great heritage of the community. Sen Samaj plays an important role in almost all our rituals.
The society has presented an exemplary example of truth, non-violence, social harmony, kinship and service. Sen community has always worked to connect family and society. With the changing times, the traditional working methods of the community are also changing. The younger generation of the society is also getting ahead in other skills and professions. The state government will provide necessary facilities to the youths in adopting new techniques according to the changes coming in the methods of traditional work.
Also, necessary guidance and support will be arranged for the youths who want to pursue further studies and who are willing to adopt other skills as a source of livelihood.
Chouhan was addressing a conference of Kesh Shilpis (hairdressers) at his residence. Chouhan inaugurated the conference by lighting a lamp and garlanding the picture of Saint Shiromani Sen ji Maharaj. The Chief Minister welcomed the Kesh Shilpis by showering flowers. Chief Minister Chouhan performed Kanya-Poojan with a song dedicated to women empowerment. After the conference, Chief Minister Chouhan had a meal with the Kesh Shilpis.
The Chief Minister said that Kesh Shilpi Mandal has been formed in the state. By taking advantage of Street Vendor Scheme, Mudra Yojna and Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, community brothers can conduct traditional business better with modern tools.
There is also a system of providing all possible help to the youths who want to study further and participate in the competitive examinations. The state government is committed to provide all possible help for the progress of those who have fallen behind in the race for development.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that Saint Sen Ji Maharaj was born in Bandhavgarh. The state government has arranged 2 acres of land and funds for his memorial. No stone will be left unturned for the construction of a grand memorial of Saint Shiromani Sen Ji Maharaj. This memorial will be developed as a centre of social harmony.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave a cheque of Rs. 10 thousand to Budhni’s Shri Omprakash Sen, Shri Santosh Kumar, Shri Chiman Sen and Smt. Ritu Sen in the street vendor scheme to help them carry out hairdresser work in modern way and presented the kit of materials related to Kesh Shipi work. Along with this, cheques of Rs. 5 thousand each and kits of Kesh Shipi work were presented to Sushri Rani Sarathe, Shri Bhupendra Sarathe, Shri Ashok Sen, Shri Rakesh Sarathe, Shri Prakash Sen, Shri Shivnarayan Sen. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan presented tricycle to Shri Mukesh and crutches to Shri Laxminarayan. Member of Parliament Shri Ramakant Bhargava also addressed the conference. Senior social worker of Sehore Shri Ravi Malviya, public representatives and people of Sen community were present.
