CM plants saplings with bike riders of Youth Panchayat
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Kachnar and Parijat saplings along with bike riders of Youth Panchayat in Smart City Garden.
On the 116th birth anniversary Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad 20 bike riders who set off on a bike yatra from Bhopal to Azad’s birthplace Bhabhra (Alirajpur) to pay tributes to him by remembering his contribution took part in the plantation. These bike riders will return to Bhopal with soil from the birthplace of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar.
Banyan has religious and medicinal significance. According to Ayurveda, the treatment of many diseases is possible with the help of Banyan leaves, bark etc. Consumption of its decoction boosts the immunity. Peepal is a shady tree, which also purifies the environment. It has religious and Ayurvedic significance. Abounding in antibiotic elements, Neem is known as the supreme medicine. The plant of Parijat is also called Harsingar, which is an excellent medicine.
Kachnar is a beautiful flowering tree. Nature has created many plants and trees that are full of medicinal properties, among them Kachnar is one. The leaves, stems and flowers of this tree, which is laden with flowers after mid-March, are all useful. Kachnar is cnsidered among beautiful and useful trees.
