Food delivery app staffer stabbed to death, robbed in Indore

Three unidentified persons stopped delivery man Sunil Verma (20), who was on a motorcycle delivering food parcels, late Thursday night and sought money from him, Inspector Rajendra Soni of Banganga police station said.

A food delivery app staffer was stabbed to death and robbed while on duty in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, a police official said on Friday. Three unidentified persons stopped delivery man Sunil Verma (20), who was on a motorcycle delivering food parcels, late Thursday night and sought money from him, Inspector Rajendra Soni of Banganga police station said. “The men stabbed Verma five times. He was rushed to a near hospital and succumbed to injuries on Friday morning. His bag, cap and other items have been recovered from the spot. We as yet do not know how much money was robbed from him,” he informed. The bag was torn and suggests he had resed the accused, the official said, adding that police were looking at several leads to solve the case and nab the culprits.

LUCKNOW Thousands of dependents of deceased employees are working on different posts in the state basic education department and have not uploaded their academic records on the Manav Sampada portal despite reminders authorities. As many as 8,770 staff are yet to upload their Intermediate marksheet and 10,930 have not uploaded their Intermediate certificate on the portal, according to a letter issued director-general (school education) Vijay Kiran Anand to all basic shiksha adhikaris.

HC directs drict collector to remove 48 structures flouting Aircraft Rules
Mumbai The Bombay high court (HC) on Friday directed the Mumbai suburban drict collector to initiate measures to remove 48 structures which are obstructing the flight path of aircrafts near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and are also in violation of the Aircraft Obstacle Rules. Unauthorised houses, huts, a mosque and a temple atop Jari Mari hill make up some of the other obstacles. There are around eight buildings violating actual height restrictions.

Shah reviews security plan for Ram temple complex
