Aditi Rao Hydari makes a striking appearance at Cannes in a red saree; husband Siddharth says, ‘Adu is wearing sindoor for Siddhu’ | Bollywood News

Aditi Rao Hydari shared a photo this afternoon from the 78th Cannes Film Festival, and it quickly took the internet storm. Dressed in a striking red saree, she posed against the picturesque backdrop of the Mediterranean. Aditi, who got married last year, wore the red Raw Mango saree with statement jewels, a bindi and vermillion.
What truly caught fans’ attention, however, was a heartfelt comment from her husband, actor Siddharth, who wrote, “Adu is wearing sindoor for Siddhu.”
 

Aditi and Siddharth tied knot last year, in a quiet ceremony held at her 400-year-old ancestral temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana. The couple later shared their first wedding photos on Instagram, accompanied a poetic caption: “You are my Sun, my Moon, and all my Stars… To being Pixie Soulmates for eternity… to laughter, to never growing up… To Eternal Love, Light & Magic. Mrs & Mr Adu-Siddhu.”
Earlier in the week, Aditi walked the red carpet in a shimmering ombré gown Rahul Mishra, paired with Chopard jewellery. She attended the premiere of Fuori on May 20 at the Palais des Festivals. Styled Priyanka Kapadia Badani, the gown featured intricate resham embroidery, sequins, glass beads, and salli — fine glass tubes commonly used in Indian craftsmanship. The sculpted wa and corseted bodice added structure and grace, while the gradient from deep black to ivory created a soft, ethereal effect.

Her presence at Cannes added to the growing l of Indian talent at the global event. Days earlier, she shared photos of her arrival, including scenic views and her “double espresso” ritual.  Along with her, the cast of Homebound also made an appearance for the big premiere night of their film. Janhvi Kapoor stood out with her red carpet debut, which the internet quickly noticed, many drawing comparisons to her mother, Sridevi.
Aditi was last seen in the series Heeramandi and is currently filming for Imtiaz Ali’s web series O Saathi Re, which also stars Avinash Tiwary.
