Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is ‘pained and filled with immense remorse’ after the horrific Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. While the incident has shaken many, Big B has also recently expressed his feelings. He also talked about the personal loss of a close friend of the Bachchan family who lost her son in a separate incident. While Amitabh Bachchan didn’t take any names, many believe he was talking about Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur’s sudden demise.
Looks like Big B had a difficult last night as he posted on his X account, “घोर अंधेरा (Deep darkness), while on his blog he wrote,” “जीवन में एक चीज़ निश्चित है, की जीवन अनिश्चित है” (One thing is certain in life, life is uncertain).”

On Saturday too, he took to his blog to post, “Most pained and filled with immense remorse on the Air India crash .. empathy and support for the lives lost of our people, and across all nations and communities .. May grief transform into solidarity in honouring lost lives .. ”
The actor added, “Through transparent investigation, let there be sustained remembrance .. and resilience .. for meaningful action and prompt lessons .. and for the healing of all ..”

He further wrote, “And the morning today has been filled with another grief for me and the family .. a most dear friend lost her Son .. young energetic .. and so sudden .. the pain and the grief for our friend and us is unimaginable .. and so difficult to have the belief that it has occurred .. All that one can do is PRAYER and to stand to give strength to the near and dear to bear the loss.”
Amitabh Bachchan also shared an image of Lord Hanuman that read, “Jai Shree Ram.”

On June 12, London-bound Air India Flight 171 crashed during take-off from Ahmedabad, which had 241 people on board, including passengers and crew members. With only one survivor in the flight, many lives were lost. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft crashed near a doctors’ hostel beside the Ahmedabad airport, and there too a few people died.
While Amitabh Bachchan took no name of the demise of his dear friend’s son, he was likely talking about Sunjay Kapur. Sunjay was a prominent Indian industrial and also ex-husband of Karisma Kapoor. He, 53, passed away on Thursday in the UK after he suffered a heart attack while playing polo.
