Alia Bhatt visits Rani Mukerji and Kajol’s Durga Puja pandal, gets mobbed while leaving but poses for selfies with eager fans. Watch | Bollywood News

There are some people whose mere presence can immediately light up a room and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has often proven herself to be one such person. On the occasion of Maha Navami on Wednesday, she once again showcased her innate charm as she visited the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal of the Mukerji family, sharing heartwarming moments with actor Rani Mukerji and her director cousin Ayan Mukerji.
Now, photos and videos from her meetup with her celebrity colleagues have gone viral on social media, much to the delight of fans. While one of the videos showed her arriving at the venue and then director Ayan, with whom she worked in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, leading her to the pandal holding her hand, another clip featured Alia engaging in a delightful conversation with Rani while posing for the paparazzi. Soon, Ayan and Tanishaa Mukerji (Kajol’s ser) also joined them, and they all posed for pictures together.
In another video, Alia was seen clicking a selfie with them on her phone, during which she accidentally stepped on Rani’s saree. Upon noticing this, the two giggled. As she was heading out, she even got mobbed a group of fans eager to take selfies with her. Alia, however, kept her cool and fulfilled their wishes before leaving the venue.
On the occasion, Alia chose to wear a golden saree and an ivory V-shaped blouse, completed with half-down hair and a black bindi. Rani Mukerji, meanwhile, was seen sporting a silver and light-blue silk saree, complemented dainty earrings, a red bindi and sindoor.
Director-producer Karan Johar and Sanjay Dutt’s former wife, model Rhea Pillai, were also seen arriving at the Mukerji family pandal during the day. Kajol and her husband Ajay Devgn, along with their daughter Nysa, also visited the pandal and offered special prayers to Maa Durga.
