Anand Mahindra declares winner of lioness caption challenge | Trending

Anand Mahindra recently took to Twitter to share a picture of a lioness with a camera in her mouth. Inviting people to caption it, he promised a toy truck to the creator of the best caption. Taken wildlife photographer Barbara Jensen Vorster in Botswana back in 2018, the image quickly became a canvas for imaginative captions on the micro-blogging site. While each one was better than the other, Anand Mahindra announced the winning caption a few hours ago.

“I’ve been reminded that I haven’t done a caption call for quite a while now. So here’s something to compete for your time on a Sunday! Send me your proposed caption for the image of the lioness on the left. And the writer of the best caption—in my opinion—will receive a model Mahindra #Furio model toy truck shown in the video on the right. Entries have to be given 3 pm on Tuesday 9th May. On your marks, get set…,” wrote Anand Mahindra on Twitter.
Alongside, he shared a picture of a lion holding a camera in its mouth and a video of a toy truck which he intends to offer as a reward.
