This is so funny.” Microsoft, in its latest update, said that the root cause of the global outage is a “change in configuration in a portion of Azure backend workloads”. The company added, “It caused interruption between storage and compute resources, which resulted in connectivity failures that affected downstream Microsoft 365 services dependent on these connections.” The global tech giant also shared the current status of the outage: “We’re continuing to see an improvement in service availability across multiple Microsoft 365 apps and services.
