No, they don’t mean it in the literal sense! Under the programme, the shelter is looking to collect donations to spay or neuter feral cats, offering patrons a chance to name the cats as their former partners. The cat will then be spayed or neutered before being released back to their colony as part of our trap-neuter-return (TNR) program,” the shelter wrote.
