Dharmendra’s last film Ikkis trailer released: Actor plays the proud father of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee | Bollywood News

A new trailer of Dharmendra‘s last film Ikkis, directed Sriram Raghavan, was released on Monday. The clip offers glimpses of Dharmendra, who plays the father of 21-year-old Second Lieutenant PVC Arun Khetarpal, portrayed Agastya Nanda. Khetarpal was awarded the nation’s highest gallantry award, Param Vir Chakra, for continuing to stay in the Battle of Basantar and take on the Pakani tanks even though his own tank had been hit enemy firing.
Agastya, grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, looks fully prepared for the challenging role in this new trailer. After making his screen debut in Netflix’s The Archies, Ikkis marks his theatrical debut. He stars alongside debutante Simar Bhatia, who is Akshay Kumar’s niece, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
Before unveiling the trailer of Ikkis, the makers also shared a poster of Dharmendra with the caption: “Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations. Dharmendra ji, an emotional powerhouse as the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier. One timeless legend brings us the story of another. Ikkis in cinemas worldwide on 25th December 2025.”

Sharing the new trailer, the makers wrote: “A father’s worst nightmare became a nation’s chance to dream again. ‘Woh jo na sirf Hindustani, balki Pakani fauj ke liye bhi misaal ban gaya.’”

Ikkis will mark the last screen appearance of Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24.
The film is set to release on December 25, 2025.
