Once updated, eligible iPhones, iPads, and Macs will gain several Apple Intelligence capabilities, such as writing tools that include text rewriting, proofreading, and text summarization. Additionally, the update introduces photo editing features like Clean Up, which helps remove unwanted subjects from photos. It also brings new capabilities such as Image Playground and Siri with ChatGPT integration.

These features will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro series and the entire iPhone 16 series. Similarly, all iPads and Macs powered Apple Silicon (M-series chips) will gain Apple Intelligence once updated to the latest firmware.

While these updates are also available for older iPhones, iPads, and Macs, Apple Intelligence will not be introduced on models like the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, and the iPhone 14 series.
Apple Intelligence was first introduced in October 2024 with the iOS 18.1 update; however, it was initially limited to users who had set their device language to U.S. English.

To experience Apple Intelligence, devices must download offline libraries, requiring at least 7 GB of free storage to install them.
