Actor Rachel Brosnahan’s husband may have sparked rumours of trouble in paradise. Jason Ralph reportedly “liked” a cryptic Instagram comment about his wife and her co-star David Corenswet’s rumoured affair. The pair recently starred in James Gunn’s DC reboot of Superman, with Rachel as Lois Lane and David as the Man of Steel. Their on-screen chemry grabbed attention, fueling speculation and rumours of an affair.

The Instagram post that Jason liked accused him of being a “cuckold” and suggested he should leave Rachel if she wanted to be with David. Instead of replying or ignoring it, Ralph simply left a “heart” on the post, which surprised fans. Some thought he was mocking the comment, while others felt it was disrespectful to Rachel. The Instagram post read, “It’s genuinely sad to see your career being tucked out to be remembered as a cuckold because your wife couldn’t handle herself with her co-actor. Like bro, let’s have some self-love and stand up for yourself man, leave her to be with him if she wants that much at the end of the day.”

Minutes after Ralph liked the post, the comment section was flooded with debates. Some defended the chemry between actors, saying it’s normal and shouldn’t be blown out of proportion. Others criticised him for engaging with the comment, claiming it only added to the speculation instead of shutting down the claims. Rumours of the affair began after a behind-the-scenes video surfaced. The off-camera clip, not part of the official promotional material, went viral. It showed Rachel and David continuing to kiss even after the director yelled “cut.” 
Representatives for both actors have not commented, while social media has already started eye-rolling. Some even said that divorce laws in America should change to prevent men from enduring repeated public humiliation. Rachel had previously addressed the kissing scene herself. Promoting the movie with Gunn, she said, “It did help that our first scene together, we made out for like four hours and then shot the rest of it.” Gunn quickly clarified, “On screen, yes!”

Rachel and Jason have been married since 2016, having met while working on a project together. In 2019, Rachel confirmed their marriage, clarifying they had actually been married for several years then. “I have been quite private about my personal life for a few reasons. The first being that it’s just that: personal,” Rachel told People in 2019, while confirming her private wedding to Jason. “Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship, while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last two years. David Corenswet, meanwhile, is married to Julia Warner, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2024. The actor revealed that he learned about his wife’s pregnancy while he was preparing for a screen test for Superman. ‘She told me that she was pregnant two days after I found out I was going to screen test for Superman,” Corenswet told People in June 2025. “For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren’t telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us. And that was intense.”
