Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul share first photo with daughter Evaarah, here’s what the name means | Bollywood News
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul welcomed their ba girl in March and on Friday, the couple took to Instagram to share her first photo with their fans. The couple also shared her name in the caption, Evaarah. Athiya and Rahul did not reveal the face of their ba in the picture.
They shared in the caption, “Our ba girl, our everything. 
Evaarah~ Gift of God ” Evaarah is a word originated from Sanksrit which means God’s gift. Actors Anushka Sharma, Samantha Ruth Prabhu dropped heart emojis in the comments section of the post.
Athiya and Rahul welcomed their daughter on March 24 and announced it to the world via an Instagram post. The couple announced their pregnancy in November and days before the birth of their daughter, they shared a few photos from their pregnancy photoshoot.
Recently, in a chat with ETimes, Suniel Shetty said that being a grandfather to his daughter’s daughter is the “biggest excitement” in his life right now. In the same chat, Suniel said that he motivates himself to work out so he can play with his granddaughter without taking a break.
Rahul is currently playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League for the Delhi Capitals team. He missed the opening match of the season against Lucknow Super Giants for the birth of his daughter. He welcomed Evaarah hours after he flew out of Visakhapatnam.

In an earlier chat with Cosmopolitan, Athiya spoke about her relationship with Rahul and said, “We have very different personalities, and I believe that’s what balances us out. However, our value system is very similar, and that’s how we connected. There are days when I am feeling a certain way, and I don’t have the energy to spell it out or make an effort to explain it well, and Rahul just understands what I’m going through. It comes naturally to him, and that’s what is so special about him.” Rahul and Athiya got married in January 2023.
