The opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 started a few minutes ago and it has already created a buzz among tweeple. Reason? Arijit Singh kickstarted the event singing the amazing song Kesariya in his soulful voice. And now, people can’t keep calm as they are taking to Twitter to showcase their reactions. Many are sharing their posts using the hashtag #IPL2023OpeningCeremony – so much so that it is now trending on Twitter.

“He is such a mood @arijitsingh,” posted a Twitter user. “Class ke last mein baith kar arijit singh ki performance dekh raha hu… And it’s worth it,” shared another. “Arijit Singh performing in front of 100k+ spectators is a total vibe,” expressed a third. “Arijit Singh killing it like always. Paisa Vasool even before the match,” wrote a fourth.The official Twitter handle of IPL also shared a video showing Arijit Singh singing Kesariya.

After Kesariya, the singer also mesmerised the fans singing Kabira from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The first match of IPL 2023 is set to start at 7:30 pm at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will be played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
