Arshdeep bowled an excellent bouncer first up and then got the wicket of the Australia skipper to seal the win for India, which was followed a very unique celebration.
“The belief was there. I backed my strength and had a gut feel that I must bowl a bouncer first up. It put doubts in Wade’s mind and when we got his wicket, there was assurity that now we have won the match,” he said.

The first four matches were played on the batting friendly pitches but there also they have kept the economy rate under six and kept on taking the regular wickets. A lots of credit goes to Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi,” said Arshdeep.
Interestingly, Chinnaswamy Stadium, which is know for high-scoring matches has more help for the bowlers. From being the most expensive bowler on the night, Arshdeep Singh became the last-over action hero to steal a memorable he.

But yes there was more help if you are bowling in the right areas. I bowled a lots of loose deliveries at the start but the other bowlers helped us made a good comeback.”
The 24-year-old, who got hit for a couple of sixes on full tosses as well as the wicket. He said: “Full tosses are like top edges. The batsman gets six from the top edge, they never practice it. When you get a wicket on full toss, it looks like a plan but when you get hit for a six on the saame, it became a lack of execution.”
Arsdheep lauded Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy and said the he gave the freedom to the players.
“Last time when I heard Ravi’s captaincy he used the word that Surya bhai has given us a lot of free hand. I want to use the same thing about his captaincy.
“He has given us a lot of freedom to the batters and bowlers to express themselves. There was batter friendly wickets in the series, he just said when there are challenges there are opportunities as well. Don’t focus on results, stick to the process and force the batsmen to make runs on good balls.
“He never let that pressure come to us, there was no forced plan. he backed our plans in the middle and just added a little bit of inputs.”
