Asia Cup: India vs Pakan Super 4 match to have a reserve day | Cricket News
The Super 4 match between India and Pakan will have a “reserve day,” the Asia Cricket Council has said in a statement. India and Pakan are scheduled to face off in Colombo on Sunday, and there is uncertainty if there will be a full contest this time as the met office predicts thunderstorms and rain from late Saturday night through the whole of Sunday.
The Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup which will feature an India vs Pakan fixture is scheduled to be held at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday. But over the weekend and Monday, Colombo has been witnessing heavy rainfall, which has prompted the ACC to add a reserve day.
“If adverse weather suspends play during the Pak vs India game, the match will continue on 11th September 2023 from the point it was suspended,” ACC said in a statement.
In such an eventuality, ticket-holders are advised to hold on to their match tickets which will remain valid and will be utilised for the reserve day. Most Read
