At least 6 people injured after high school student goes on stabbing spree in South Korea | World News
At least six people were injured, including a teacher, in a stabbing attack a high school student in Cheongju, South Korea on Monday, Reuters reported citing Yonhap news agency.
The suspect student is part of a special education program which is designed for students with disabilities or special needs. The attack took place at around 8:40am on Monday in Cheongju city, which is approximately 110 kms south of capital Seoul, Yonhap reported.
Reuters reported that at least three people received serious injuries, while Yonhap added that other three received minor injuries and all were taken to hospital with injuries to the face, abdomen and other parts and are being treated there.

South Korean officials added that none of the six injured persons were in a critical condition.
The suspect student, who carried out the attack, reportedly jumped into a near reservoir after the incident but was rescued officials and admitted to hospital, Yonhap reported.
The reason for the stabbing still remains unknown as police and education authorities conduct investigation and look into the exact circumstances which led to the stabbing incident.
