She said, “Certain chapters in my life, certain people in my life, I choose to omit them forever.” The interviewer noted that the tone that she was taking while talking about Armaan was the same as the one Tanishaa Mukerji took. “Is the man very dominating and abusive?” the interviewer asked, and Ayesha replied, “There are no scars, it’s an erased chapter. Not even closed, erased. Certain people are not even worth giving that importance.” She said that the breakup happening ‘in a snap’, and that there was no ‘pre-planning’. She had wanted to do it for a while, but for some reason, hadn’t taken the step.
Ayesha said that her parents wholeheartedly supported her decision to split from Armaan, and admitted that being with him affected her career because she was turning down offers. She did, however, refuse to pin the blame on him, and said that she was also responsible for the hit that her career took. “A lot of people told me that it was a good decision (to break up with Armaan), but I don’t need anybody’s stamp of approval, because I knew that it was a good decision. “I’ve always been a strong-minded person, I’m a fighter. I don’t sit and brood, and I don’t owe anybody any explanations,” she said.

She added, “I sidelined my career, I didn’t sign a lot of films that were coming my way, I gave more importance to my personal life.” Ayesha Jhulka and Armaan Kohli starred in the films Kohra and Anaam.
