Badshah sports eye patch after injury, links the injury to The Ba***ds of Bollywood: ‘Avtar ji ka mukka…’ | Bollywood News

Rapper and music icon Badshah took to Instagram today, sharing two photos of himself sporting an eye patch along with a tongue-in-cheek caption: “Avtar ji ka mukka hit karta hai jaise.” The post was a playful nod to his cameo in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the newly released Netflix series directed Aryan Khan. In the show, Badshah appears briefly in a scene where his character ends up in a physical confrontation with Avtar, portrayed veteran actor Manoj Pahwa. The clash culminates in a dramatic punch to the eye during a boxing ring sequence.

Though the caption struck a light-hearted tone, the situation behind the eye patch is more serious. According to a Hindustan Times report, Badshah sustained a real eye injury during the final show of his North America tour. Something entered his eye at the beginning of the set. Despite the discomfort, he continued to perform. Upon returning to India, a doctor diagnosed him with a corneal abrasion after noticing his constant eye irritation. He later underwent a minor surgical procedure and was advised to wear an eye patch for five days.
