Apple iPhone 17 series: Price in India compared to the US, Dubai, Vietnam and other regions | Technology News
Apple, on Tuesday, September 9, introduced the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air at the “Awe Dropping” event. While the vanilla iPhone 17 is now slightly expensive than its predecessor, the base variant now comes with at least 256GB of onboard storage, which is double of what the iPhone 16 had to offer.
All models in the iPhone 17 series – the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the iPhone Air will be available for pre-order starting September 12 and can be purchased from stores and online retailers starting September 19 in India.
This time, Apple has slightly increased the price for all models in the iPhone 17 series. The vanilla iPhone 17 starts from Rs 82,900, while the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max start from Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,49,900, respectively. However, the same devices are much cheaper in the United States.

What is the cheapest place to buy the iPhone 17 series?
As you can see in the table above, despite the tariffs placed US President Donald Trump, the cheapest place to buy the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max is the United States.
And while the vanilla iPhone 17 is priced similarly in both India and Dubai/UAE, the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air have a significant price difference. The United Kingdom comes close to Dubai/UAE in tersm of pricing, making the third cheapest place on the l to buy the iPhone 17 series or the iPhone Air. As for Vietnam, the base iPhone 17 is significantly more expensive than in India, but you can save up some money on the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air.
