Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh-born leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died after a long illness. He was 93 years old and was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi for treatment. He breathed his last 5.00 pm on Thursday evening. Vajpayee was suffering from diabetes mellitus, kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, difficulty in coming to urination and chest tightness.
At 10 a.m. in the morning, the doctors had issued a medical bulletin to the former PM. According to which there was no improvement in his condition. Earlier, AIIMS in a statement on the night of August 15 said, “Unfortunately, their condition has worsened. Their condition is serious and they are kept on the life saving system. ”
Vajpayee’s only kidney functioning with diabetes works. In 2009, he was hit by a stroke, after which he started having problems of knowing and recognizing people. Later he was diagnosed with diemia.
Birth of Vajpayee in Madhya Pradesh
Born on December 25, 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a long time of Atal Bihari Vajpayee has passed through this city. Father Pandit Krishna Bihari Vajpayee was shifted from Bateseshwar in Uttar Pradesh after being appointed as a teacher in Gwalior principality of Madhya Pradesh. Atal had three sisters and three brothers, the seventh child of the parents. Vajpayee was prime minister of the country from 1998 to 2004. With their health worsening, they gradually shifted away from public life and have been limited to their home for many years.
Memories of Victoria College
The Victoria College of Gwalior, now known as Maharani Laxmibai College, is studying in Vajpayee. At the same time, Atal started taking part in the debate competitions. His speeches in the college made him a hero and later he became known as a hero all over the country.

Vajpayee became part of Indian politics since 1951. Atal Bihari Bajpai, who contested the Lok Sabha election for the first time in 1955, lost in this election. But in the year 1957, he became a mother-in-law. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a Lok Sabha MP for a total of 10 times and during this period he was also a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament in 1962 and 1986.
Pokhran test
Atal ji played an important role in the Pokhran test. Despite protests from many countries, after conducting Pokhran nuclear tests in 1998, Atal ji told the world that India is no longer afraid of anybody. This test was strongly opposed by the United States, but Atal ji did not listen to anybody and in the world, India was declared as a strong country.
Bharat Ratna ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee’ of the country
Vajpayee was one of Bharat Ratna’s prime ministers of the country. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna Award on March 27, 2015. This event happened only at his residence located in Krishna Menon Marg. In which many other dignitaries including President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were present.
