Bhopal: MPBSE paper leak, Commissioner’s steno among five arrested

Morena: After consistent media reports alleging leakage of question papers of the ongoing MPBSE exams from Morena, the administration got cracking on Thursday and at least six persons, including the stenographer of the Commissioner, Chambal were arrested. Images of the question paper were found on the mobile phones of all these persons before the commencement of the exam. The police are trying to find out who was the kingpin of the gang. It may also register cases against these persons. Morena SP Vineet Khanna said that the accused, no matter how high or mighty, will not be spared.

So far, four papers of class ten and twelfth have leaked from Morena. This time, the police decided to catch the accused red-handed. Policemen in mufti were deployed outside suspicious examination centres. It came to their knowledge that some persons were having images of the Chemistry question paper on their mobiles. Surendra Singh, the steno of the Chambal Commissioner, was also among those arrested. His son and daughter were appearing the class 12 exam.
