Celebrities ringside at AO: From Jackie Chan to K-Popper Mark Lee, Leon Marchand & Ricky Ponting | Tennis News

Jackie Chan stole the show posing with two toy pandas as the Australian Open final was as dracted as Alexander Zverev’s net botches. But a flurry of stars did turn up for the occasion.
Asian superstars, KPop stars Mark Lee and Sana led the online chatter, as they got front row court level seats on account of being brand ambassadors of a leading fashion brand.
But also enjoying Sinner’s extraordinarily defensive flair was French swimming Olympics star Leon Marchand. The other multiple World champ was cricketer Ricky Ponting.
John Newcombe and Ken Rosewall were the elderlies who graced the occasion, while Ashwin Barty and Aussie swim star Emma McKeon were also at the biggest party at Melbourne.
From the entertainment world, Liam Hemsworth and Eric Bana were spotted.
Sinner defeats Alexander Zverev to clinch back to back Australian Open title
Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Australian Open crown on Sunday when he defeated Alexander Zverev in a rather lopsided finale. Last year, Sinner had clinched the crown after he defeated Daniil Medvedev in a marathon 5-setter contest.
The World No.1 blasted past his German challenger 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-3 as he raced through the three sets with a dominant performance. The 23-year-old Italian is also the youngest man to leave Melbourne Park with the trophy two years in a row since Jim Courier in 1992-93.
Sinner broke Zverev’s serve in the eighth game and then served out the first set, closing with an ace. There were no service breaks in the second set.
The finals didn’t rise to the levels of much drama, as Zverev was patchy in challenging the World No. 1. But the closing stages of the second set had the crowds on their feet as Sinner played out an extraordinarily geometric pattern to seal it with a passing shot and push the match into a tiebreaker.
