The 18-year-old from Chennai defeated compatriot Arjun Erigaisi in a frantic sudden-death blitz showdown after eight previous games failed to find a winner to cement his place in the semifinals.Out of four Indians, who had made it to the quarterfinals, Praggnanandhaa remains the only Indian in the fray.
