Chhaava box office collection day 41: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s Chhaava has been cruising at the box office after a blockbuster debut over a month ago. While there has been a decline in collections, it seems to have more fuel left in its tanks. Ahead of two big releases around Eid – Sikandar and Empuraan– Chhaava is making more than a crore daily. On its sixth Wednesday of release, the film earned Rs 1.4 crore, taking its nett India total to Rs 587.75 crore.
Chhaava’s gross domestic collections stand at Rs 698.65 crore, while its worldwide collection stands at Rs 789.65 crore (over $90 million) so far. Overseas, Chhaava has earned Rs 91 crore. Breaking several records and overtaking many Bollywood blockbusters, Chhaava became the highest-grossing film of 2025.

 
It is also the biggest film of Vicky’s career. Before it bows out for good, Chhaava is expected to overtake the recent horror comedy hit Stree 2, which was the highest-grossing film of 2024. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film earned Rs 597.99 crore in its 11-week run at the box office.

On it sixth Wednesday, the overall occupancy for Chhaava stood at 8.6 percent. With a total of 2508 shows across India, the film had the highest occupancy in Chennai (30 percent) with 7 shows. With 60 shows, Hyderabad saw an occupancy of 11.5 percent. In Mumbai, the film’s occupancy was 8.5 percent with 492 shows, while in Delhi-NCR, the occupancy was 9 percent with 623 shows.
Directed Laxman Utekar and produced Dinesh Vijan, the film also features Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles. While the film’s Hindi version premiered on February 14, its Telugu release followed on March  7.
