Fastest to 200 sixes in IPL l: Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul became the fastest Indian and third-fastest player overall in the Indian Premier League to hit 200 sixes. With his first six of the innings against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, he reached the milestone in 129 innings. With 200 maximums in 128 innings, Rahul sits third in the l of fastest 200 sixes behind Chris Gayle and Andre Russell.
West Indian powerhouse Gayle got to 200 IPL sixes in just 69 innings while Russell took 97 innings to the landmark, both of them are the only two players to reach this milestone in fewer than 100 innings.
Former Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals now) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Ab De Villiers is fourth on the l, having hit 200 maximums in IPL 137 innings.
