RAIPUR: A delegation from China and Bangladesh met the chief minister Dr Raman Singh and evinced interest to invest in manufacturing of electronics and textile sector.
Top investors of the country have showed their interest for investment in ambitious logistic hub being developed in Chhattisgarh’s Naya Raipur.
In this regard, Chhattisgarh chief minister Dr Raman Singh on Thursday had a detailed discussion with a delegation of the investors.
The chief minister said that at present, Chhattisgarh is the best place in India to invest and invited all the investors to come to Chhattisgarh for discussing in detail the investment opportunities.
According to the state government’s spokesperson, the pioneers of leading travel and logistic companies, including Ramesh Agrawal, Devi Dayal Garg, Vipin Vohra and Jugal Baweja had a discussion with the chief minister. Singh told them that the state is centrally located and has better rail, road and air connectivity.

He also added that industry and business policy of Chhattisgarh is favourable for investors and trained youths are easily available.
Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh met Chinese delegation and informed them that an electronic manufacturing cluster is being developed in Naya Raipur.
Shen Jen Phoenix director Jesan and other members were part of the delegation. The chief minister invited them to visit Naya Raipur for more information on manufacturing of electronics. He also met a delegation from Bangladesh.
During the discussion, industry department secretary Kamalpreet Singh, CSIDC MD Sunil Mishra, resident commissioner Sanjay Ojha, PR department special secretary Rajesh Toppo and OSD Arun Besen were present during the meeting.
