Chouhan lauds role of State nurses in fighting Covid-19

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the zeal and passion with which all the nurse sisters engaged in the war against corona have accomplished their duty with highest dedication is amazing. The contribution of nurse sisters has been important in the coordinated efforts made for corona control in the state.

Chouhan has heartily congratulated all the nurse sisters of the State through his tweet. He said that the nurse sisters of the health staff, playing the role of corona warriors, fought the battle against corona with high spirits. They not only treated the corona patients but also boosted their morale with their conduct.

The corona patients who went to their homes after recovering from the hospital and covid care centres also expressed their gratitude for the services rendered by the nurse sisters.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that nurse sisters have played an important role in the vaccination mega campaign to provide protection shield from corona in the state. With their cooperation, maximum vaccination could be done in the state and Madhya Pradesh created a distinct identity in the country in vaccination.

Chouhan said that record vaccines were administered in the initial days of the vaccination campaign, in which the cooperation of the nurse sisters cannot be denied. The work of vaccinating continued from morning till late night and the nurse sisters, regardless of time and without getting worried for them, vaccinated all the people who came to the vaccination centres. This shows their high spirits.

The Chief Minister said that in the coordinated efforts made in controlling the second wave of corona in the state, the nurse sisters have also made commendable contribution.

Now the state government is making even better efforts to save the people from the third wave of corona. For this, along with the necessary resources, arrangements for oxygen and essential medicines are also being ensured.

Chouhan said that to prevent the possible third wave of corona, work will be done again by adopting public-participation model. For this, along with the staff of the Health Department, Crisis Management Groups and social organisations at district, block, ward and village level are active from now on.
