Chouhan plants Moulshree and Gulmohar saplings
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Moulshree and Gulmohar saplings in the Smart City Garden. Members of Nupur Kunj Society of Bhopal, Nitesh Jain, Kumudni Sharma, Hemant Padode, Sanjay Khoshal and Richa Jain also planted saplings.
Special arrangements are made by the members of the society on every Sunday for the management of waste by cleaning their living area. Arrangements for cool drinking water have been made for the common people and passers-by.
The society organises a special programme of plantation every month in both its gardens and a fountain has also been installed for beautification. The members of the society provide full cooperation in the sanitary work of the Municipal Corporation along with fulfilling the responsibility of upkeep of the plants.
Among the saplings planted today, Gulmohar is considered one of the most beautiful trees in the world. It is also rich in medicinal properties. Moulshree is a well known tree. It has been used in Ayurveda for centuries.
