Chouhan reviews MP Startup Policy and Portal activities

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a hub will be set up in Indore to provide a platform to various startups working in the state.

The Startup Policy and Startup Portal being implemented in the state, will provide a better environment for the implementation of innovations in the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a meeting regarding Madhya Pradesh startup policy and plan implementation at the residence office. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Saklecha, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises P. Narhari and other officials were present.

It was informed in the meeting that the implementation of the startup policy and startup portal of the state would be started soon.

The implementation will start on the basis of virtual partnership with all the universities, colleges and incubation centers of the state.

The Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade, Government of India and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are getting cooperation in the implementation of the Startup Policy and Portal.

Along with this, national level institutions like CII, FICCI, PHD Chamber of Commerce, NASSCOM and TIE are also collaborating.

In the near future, there will also be a discussion on funding for startups, ongoing activities for promotion of startup and incubation eco-system at the national level and the state’s startup policy and its implementation.
