Chouhan reviews preparations of Kovind’s programmes
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations as regard to the programmes to be organised on the first visit of the President Ramnath Kovind to the state at CM House today.
Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Director General of Police R. K Shukla and other Senior Officers were present in the meeting. CM Chouhan was apprised that the President Ramnath Kovind will reach Bhopal on November 10 during his first visit of the state.
Kovind will take part in Kabir Mahotsav being organized at Lal Parade Ground. He will unveil the statue of Virangana Jhalkar Bai in the park of G.T.B. Complex.
Moreover, Kovind will inaugurate Jawahar Lal Nehru Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management.
He will take night halt at Bhopal. The President Kovind will proceed for Amarkantak in the morning and visit Narmada Mandir for darshan. Furthermore, Kovind after participating in the convocation ceremony at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University will leave Amarkantak for Raipur.
Principal Secretary Raj Bhavan M. Mohanrao, Principal Secretaries to CM Ashok Varnaval, S.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary Scheduled Caste Welfare Ashish Upadhaya, Principal Secretary Transport S.N. Mishra, Principal Secretary Vivek Sharma, Secretary to CM Hariranjan Rao, Commissioner Urban Development and Environment Vivek Agrawal, Commissioner Transport Shailendra Shrivastava and other Officers were present in the review meeting.
