CM inaugurates women-run e-sawari rickshaw service
Chief Minister Kamal Nath, while inaugurating the women-run e-sawari rickshaw service in Indore on sunday, said that this is a new initiative in the direction of women empowerment. This scheme will be expanded throughout the State. The Chief Minister handed over the keys of e-rickshaws to the women drivers and reached the venue by riding the e-rickshaw.
Nath said that special attention is being paid to make women of Madhya Pradesh self–reliant and for their protection. It is our endeavour to ensure that women become self-reliant and live respectably. He said that e-sawari rickshaw service will provide employment to women and strengthen them economically. The Chief Minister said that special focus will also be given on employment of men.
Appreciating the development and cleanliness system of Indore city, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that I feel very happy to come to Indore. This city is clean. There is excitement and zeal here.
He said that Indore city will now be made completely safe. With this, the entire Madhya Pradesh will be made a clean and safe state. He said that Indore city will be made totally secure now. With this, the entire Madhya Pradesh will be made a clean and secure state.
The Chief Minister said that I believe in working and not in announcements. The people of the state will certify out work. He said that a new Madhya Pradesh will be created with the power of the people of the state.
Nath told that the State Government is laying emphasis on the increasing the purchasing power of farmers. He said that new challenges are surfacing in the field of agriculture. The challenge in the state now is not of less production but of more production. The Chief Minister said that an effective plan will be prepared and implemented as to how farmers get better prices for their produce. He said that a new revolution will be brought in the field of agriculture in the State.
Kamal Nath said that continuous efforts are being made to increase industrial investment in the State. A better atmosphere for industrial investment is being prepared. He said that if industrial investment increases in State, new opportunities of employment will also be created.
The Chief Minister released a theme song created by Indore Tourism Promotion Council to promote tourism in Indore on the occasion.
