CM plants Almond and Karanj saplings
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today planted almond and Karanj saplings in the Smart City Garden Shyamla Hills. Along with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, members of Awaaz Jan-Kalyan Samiti also planted saplings. Chief Minister Chouhan received the details of the activities of the organisation. Functionaries of the organisation Prashant Dubey, Gunjan and Subhash Garg were present.
Almond is useful in the treatment of high blood pressure and constipation
Almond is a dry fruit. Technically, it is the seed of the fruit of the almond tree. The almond tree bears pink and white fragrant flowers. It flourishes more in mountainous areas. In Asia, it occurs in greater numbers in Iran-Iraq. Almond is helpful in digestion due to the presence of fiber.
Almonds are useful in the treatment of high blood pressure, constipation and heart diseases. It is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium and vitamin E.
Karanj plant is considered important in Ayurvedic medicine. Karanj plant is also used in religious works.
