CM plants saplings with Padamshri Piyush Pandey
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Sunday planted saplings of Peepal, Neem and Khirni in Smart Garden, Shyamala Hills, Bhopal.
Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, Padmashri Piyush Pandey, CEO, ONM and Ladli Laxmi daughters Srishti Malviya, Khushita Paliwal, Avni Yadav, Aaradhya Verma and Ira Sharma also planted saplings. Former Bhopal Mayor Alok Sharma was present.
On this occasion, Kuldeep Shukla planted saplings along with Chief Minister Chouhan on his late mother’s death anniversary. Apart from this, mountaineer Vishal Takey Maratha, who is the fourth person from Madhya Pradesh to reach the height of Everest, also planted saplings. Fashion photographer Shri Sudesh Nagar also participated in the plantation.
Peepal planted today is a shady tree. It purifies the environment.
It has religious and Ayurvedic significance. Rich in antibiotic elements, Neem is known as the ultimate medicine.
Khirni tree grows in India in places like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu etc. Its fruits are like Neem fruits. They are called khirni. The taste of khirni fruit is very sweet and the effect is hot.
