CM releases book on Rama’s Van gaman
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan released the book “Ram Van Gaman Path Punravlokan” at the residence office. The author of the book Ram Gopal Soni and publisher Pushkar Baheti of Ujjain were present. Soni is a retired officer of the Indian Forest Service. He has retired from the post of Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests.
Soni said that from this book, while on the one hand the path of the real route of Ram Van Gaman will be paved, on the other people will be able to learn about the Ashrams of the prominent saints and their importance.
Later this book will also be helpful in promoting religious tourism in these areas.
The 316-page book, divided into 11 chapters, covers the journey of Ram-Laxman to the forest with Vishwamitra, Ayodhya to Chitrakoot, Chitrakoot to Amarkantak, Amarkantak to Dandkarany, Panchavati to Kishkindha, departure from Pravarshan Parvat to Lanka, Setu Bandh along with a detailed mention of arrival in Ayodhya from Lanka by Pushpak Viman. The book also contains description of various Ashrams.
