Five new creator-focused features coming to YouTube Shorts soon | Technology News

YouTube is continuously working on improving Shorts rolling out new features that help creators make more engaging and interactive short-form video content. As the attention span of social media users keeps shrinking, YouTube is introducing innovative tools to stay ahead. This includes new AI-driven tools developed Google’s DeepMind to make creating Shorts easier. These AI tools could unlock newer ways for creators to express themselves adding a creative touch to their content.
Earlier, YouTube introduced Veo, which allowed users to add green-screen backgrounds to Shorts giving a simple text prompt. More recently, it has launched Veo 2, which lets users generate standalone six-second video clips. “These creations will be watermarked using SynthID, and we’ll apply a label that clearly communicates to viewers it was generated with AI,” YouTube said.
