Congress-BSP coalition alerted in BJP, strategy created for Dalits
Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are upset Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is on a journey of ‘Jan Aashirvad’ for the fourth time to be in power. At the same time, the Congress is struggling to eliminate the 15-year power exile in the state.
The Congress is also engaged in an attempt to compromise with the BSP to oust the Shivraj government from power. Concern for both parties is a concern for the BJP. In this way, the party has created a special strategy to keep a strong hold on Dalit votes.
In Madhya Pradesh, there are about 15 percent dalit voters in the state. The main base of BSP is on Dalit votes. Especially in the assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. There are 25 such Assembly seats in the state where BSP decides to lose.
BJP wants to compete with the Congress-BSP challenge on the basis of development. For this, the campaign started by Shivraj Singh Chauhan government in the fields of rural areas and farmers has started spreading.
In the wake of the dalit abuse, BJP President Amit Shah participated in the Kumbh Mela held in Ujjain in 2016. During this time, he had a bath with the dalit saints in the river Kshipra. Apart from this, he also had a meal with them.
In view of the growing closeness between the Congress-BSP in the Assembly elections, ruling BJP is engaged in communicating with the Dalit leaders. According to sources, BJP is also putting the dome on leaders associated with BSP. At present, there is no bigger face of the Dalit community in the BJP. This is the reason why the party can move some faces from the Dalit community.
Explain that the BSP has been out of power for the last six years. Mayawati has made changes in her strategy after the defeat in the 2017 assembly elections. The result of this is that the BSP is joining the coalition in different states and is entering the electoral fray. It is believed in the same link that BSP can join the Congress together.
BJP estimates that Mayawati can influence Uttar Pradesh, especially the Dalit majority seats. The Bundelkhand area has a large population of the dalit community. Apart from this, Congress-BSP alliance will affect BJP in Malwa region.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan comes from an OBC community. They are trying to reach different caste groups and sections of society. He has tried to deliver messages by including the faces coming from weaker sections in his last cabinet expansion.
BJP has been entrusted with responsibilities of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Uma Bharti and Babulal Gaur for the obsolete votes. The three leaders come from the backward castes. Apart from this, Thavarchandra Gahlot has been appointed to help the Dalit community.
