Congress ka hath, Pakistan ke sath, says Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Bhopal : The Bhartiya Janta Party on Saturday launched a scathing attack on senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh after his alleged audio clip surfaced on social media. In the alleged audio clip, Singh is heard saying the Congress party has to have a relook at the decision of abrogation of article 370.
The comment of Singh was revealed in an alleged clubhouse audio chat released by BJP IT cell leader Amit Malviya, drawing BJP’s ire. BJP leaders alleged Congress party of propagating Pakistan’s agenda in India.
Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said ‘Congress ka Hath Pakistan ke sath. “What they (Congress party) will re-think? Do they want impose Article 370 in Kashmir to promote separatisms or patronize terrorism? They (Congress party) speak exactly what Pakistan wants them to speak. Sonia Gandhi will have to clear her party’s stand,” Chouhan said in a video clip that was released on his twitter page.
Singh made this alleged comment while replying to a query by a Pakistan origin journalist while participating as speaker in clubhouse audio chat. “The decision of Revoking article 370 and reducing statehood of j&k (Jammu and Kashmir) is an extremely sad decision and the Congress party would certainly have to have a re-look on the decision,” Digvijaya Singh is heard saying in the alleged audio chat.
Senior BJP leader and state minister Vishvas Sarang said that Kashmir is an integral part of India. “It is very unfortunate comments of Singh. It is an act of sedition. If anybody would try to harm the unity and integrity of the country, strict action would be taken against him,” Sarang told journalists.
