‘Control freak’ Victoria Beckham claims, ‘I’m not perfect, but a good mum’ amid feud with son Brookyln and his wife Nicola Peltz | Hollywood News

Former Spice Girl star, Victoria Beckham, recently appeared for an interview with Reviewed OSA to discuss her upcoming Netflix documentary, her fashion brand, and most importantly, the role she plays in her house as a wife and as a mother, insing she ‘tries’ her best to balance those with her professional life. For the day, the 51-year-old was joined her youngest daughter, Harper. She went again to double down on her claims that “she is a wonderful mother” after the host praised her for “handling family business well while looking after kids and David.” “I’m not trying to be perfect, I’ve never been perfect. I just want to be the best that I can be,” she added. “I accept my flaws. It’s just making the best of who you are. I do that through a healthy diet, working out every day, dressing in a certain way. I’m just trying to be the best me, so I can be the best mum, the best wife, the best professional,” she kept repeating.
Earlier, TMZ reported how her feud with daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz hit breaking point after the cold war that took off during Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding, where the former declined to wear Victoria’s dresses and chose Valentino instead. Today, it stands at a point where Brooklyn has reportedly reached non-speaking terms with his family and ignored his parents during his recent trip to London.
Victoria Beckham details her upcoming Netflix documentary
Netflix has reportedly inked a big deal with the Beckhams, two years after the success of David’s show. Speaking of the same, Victoria revealed she was confused at first when the OTT extended the offer but insed that the “filming was like a therapy,” where she got to know things about herself that she didn’t know before. When asked if she felt vulnerable while doing so, she added, “I’ve been very vulnerable but I knew going into it that there’s an element of control that I am not going to have, and as a control freak, that ultimately makes you feel quite vulnerable.”Story continues below this ad
The mother of three said she often battles with self-doubt but, “I don’t let myself be weighed down it. I think an element of that is always good because if not, I can imagine you would become incredibly arrogant. I am quite a humble person.” She further went on claiming to be the honest person that people will also get to witness in her upcoming project.
The Beckhams have not spoken publicly about the internal feud, but according to a new Page Six report, her oldest seems to have totally cut ties with the couple and didn’t contact them during his recent London visit for a photoshoot. “He didn’t reach out,” the insider said. “It’s becoming increasingly clear how strained things are behind the scenes.” Even more telling is that Brooklyn, who is no stranger to family appearances, didn’t take the opportunity to reconnect with his siblings either.
