Criano Ronaldo scores superb volley in Al-Nassr in comeback win

Portuguese superstar Criano Ronaldo made headlines for Al-Nassr yet again as the No 7 scored a spectacular brace to help his side come from behind and take all three points in the Saudi Pro League. The 39-year-old started the game on Saturday on the pitch, and waited until the second half to grab a spectacular brace at Al -Awwal Park in a 2-1 win for his side.
The Faris Najd started the game on the back foot, as Ronaldo’s men were pitted  back in their own half, eventually leading to an Al-Riyadh goal in the final minutes of the first half. In the second half, Ronaldo took matters into his own hands, and initiated the comeback with an easy tap-in goal, set up Sadio Mane.

Not more than 8 minutes had passed since his equalizer when Ronaldo once again popped up at the edge of the penalty area to hammer in a marvelous volley into the top right corner. Roanldo celebrated with passion as he hit his classic ‘SIUUU’ celebration, with the crowd joining in. Ronaldo let a golden opportunity to seal a hat-trick in the final seconds slip through his fingers, as he ended up passing the ball to teammate Jhon Duran, who ultimately missed the target.
The hosts then managed to hang on to the one-goal lead constructed their captain, which also means that the club is now in 3rd spot in League standings. With 57 points from 27 games, Al-Nassr is still 8 points behind League leaders Al-Ittihad. With 7 games left for each side, Al-Nassr need a monumental turnaround if Criano Ronaldo and Co are to get their hands on silverware this season.
Following the game, Ronaldo is now at the 933-goal mark and has amassed 32 goals and 4 asss in all competitions this season.
