Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed their ba boy on Friday. Vicky’s father, veteran action director Sham Kaushal, expressed his heartfelt joy on social media on Saturday. Taking to Instagram, Sham shared an emotional note of gratitude.
He wrote, “Shukriya Rab Da… Kal se Bhagwan ka mere parivar pe itna meherban rehne ke liye jitna bhi shukar kar raha hoon, unki blessings ke samne kam pad raha hai (Thank you, Lord… Since yesterday, I’ve been thanking God for being so kind and generous to my family, but no amount of gratitude feels enough for His blessings).”
He further added, “God is and has been so kind. Bhagwan ki meherbani aise hi mere bachon pe aur sabse junior Kaushal pe bani rahe. Hum sab bahut khush hain aur bahut blessed hain. So so happy on becoming Dada. May God bless all. Rab Rakha. (May God’s grace always remain on my children and the youngest Kaushal. We are all very happy and feel deeply blessed. Meanwhile, Vicky’s brother, actor Sunny Kaushal, also expressed his excitement on social media. Sharing a post on his Instagram Story, he wrote, “Main chacha ban gaya!” (I have become an uncle!)

On Friday, Katrina and Vicky shared the news with fans through a joint Instagram post. Their note read, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our ba boy.”
The couple’s post quickly drew congratulatory messages from across the film industry. Celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Madhuri Dixit, Bipasha Basu, Guneet Monga, Lakshmi Manchu, and Ishaan Khatter were among the many who showered love and blessings on the new parents. Katrina’s ser, Isabelle Kaif dropped hearts in the comment section.
According to Jagran, HN Reliance Foundation Hospital confirmed the news in an official statement: “Actress Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were blessed with a son this morning at HN Reliance Hospital. Both Katrina and the ba are doing well. The condition of both mother and child is stable.” As per the hospital statement, Katrina and Vicky’s ba boy was born at 8:23 am on Friday.
