DC vs CSK tip-off XI: MS Dhoni likely to bat up in the order, Mitchell Marsh to miss out again

IPL 2023: A win over laggards Delhi Capitals will cement Chennai Super Kings’ place in the play-offs.
The slow nature of Feroz Shah Kotla track will suit CSK’s game-plan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in all likelihood playing his last competitive game in the National Capital will like to make full use of the conditions against an out-of-sorts team.
After a miserable first half, where they lost five games on the trot, the Capitals did manage to pick up some momentum, winning five out of their next eight games but it came too late in the competition.
Come Saturday, David Warner and Co. would like to play the proverbial party-poopers once again ending their IPL season with a win at home.

Another day in the sun as we prepare for #DCvCSK 👊

Ahead of the match here are few tip-offs:
Dhoni to bat up
CSK batting coach Mike Hussey on Friday maintained that MS Dhoni doesn’t want to strain his dodgy knee running between the wickets and thus bats down the order to provide the final flourish. But at Kotla, where the surface would be low and slow and in a must-win game for the CSK, the captain might bat up in the order. Dhoni has managed some cameos in the fag end of the innings but in a crunch game, Chennai would be hoping to get clucth knock from his captain.
No Marsh for Capitals
Anrich Nortje replaced the injured Mitchell Marsh in Capitals’ previous game. Marsh has not trained with the team for the past two days and it is highly unlikely that he will play on Saturday. After leaking runs in the initial games, Anrich Nortje has also found his groove.
