Dharmendra health update: Veteran actor ‘stable, under observation’, son Sunny Deol’s team requests fans to not indulge in false rumours | Bollywood News

Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for the past few days. On Monday night, apart from his family members — Hema Malini, Bob Deol, Sunny Deol and others — several Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, were also spotted visiting him. Later, Govinda and Ameesha Patel were seen at the hospital as well.
While reports were doing the rounds that the actor was in a critical condition and on ventilator suppor, Sunny Deol’s team clarified that the actor is stable and requested fans not to spread rumours about his health. The statement read, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
Hema Malini also took to social media to dismiss the rumours, writing, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.”

After Shah Rukh and Salman’s visit, photographers spotted Govinda arriving at the hospital late at night. The actor, accompanied his team members, was seen driving his own car. Ameesha Patel, who has starred alongside Sunny Deol in Gadar and Gadar 2, was also seen leaving the hospital after meeting the Deol family. Ameesha refrained from commenting on his health and gestured from her car that she preferred to remain silent.
Comedian and television host Bharti Singh, who is presently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, also extended her heartfelt wishes for the veteran actor’s recovery. On Monday night, Bharti was spotted paparazzi, where she spoke about his health and said, “Arey bhagwaan aur hamare dua unke saath hai, kuch nahi hone wala. Bas aap prayer kijiye voh jald hi theek ho jaaye (God and our prayers are with him. Nothing is going to happen. You just wish for his speedy recovery).”
Dharmendra will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s film Ikkis. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles.
