At present, Dhurandhar stands among the top three highest-grossing films of the year. The top position is held Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, which has amassed Rs 622.04 crore in net collections, followed Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava at Rs 601.54 crore. Dhurandhar has also surpassed several recent pan-India blockbusters, including Prabhas’ Salaar (Rs 406.45 crore), Rajinikanth’s Jailer (Rs 348.55 crore), and Vijay’s Leo (Rs 341.04 crore). While Dhurandhar remains behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which recorded a net collection of Rs 543.09 crore, the film has performed significantly better than other recent spy-universe titles such as Tiger 3 (Rs 282.79 crore), War (Rs 318.01 crore), and its sequel released earlier this year, which grossed Rs 236.55 crore.

Dhurandhar has emerged as the biggest hit of Ranveer Singh’s career so far. However, it still trails behind his closest contemporary Ranbir Kapoor’s highest-grossing film, Animal, which earned Rs 553.87 crore domestically. The film also remains significantly behind other major recent blockbusters such as Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, which collected Rs 646.31 crore, and Stree 2, which recorded an impressive lifetime total of Rs 597.99 crore. Nevertheless, strong word of mouth, steady weekday collections, and the upcoming weekend are expected to further strengthen Dhurandhar’s box-office run. That said, the film will soon face competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which could impact screen count and overall collections.
The film, directed Aditya Dhar, is a two-part gangster saga, with the second installment scheduled to release on Eid 2026. Part 1 featured a stellar ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
