Dia Mirza refutes Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s claim of sharing AI-generated content on Kancha Gachibowli tree-felling: ‘Verify facts’ | Bollywood News

Amid the Kancha Gachibowli land issue, Telangana Chief Miner Revanth Reddy claimed that several celebrities, including Dia Mirza, have fallen prey to AI-generated content. In a statement, Reddy claimed that celebrities, including Dia, shared fake and AI-generated content on the Kancha Gachibowli tree-felling to support the student protest. Now, the actor has reacted to the claims and has called it “absolutely false.”
Taking to her X handle, Dia wrote, “The CM of Telangana posted a tweet yesterday. He made certain claims about the situation at Kancha Gachibowli.” She added. “One of them was that I had used FAKE AI generated images/videos in support of the protest students to protect biodiversity on the 400 acres of land the government wanted to auction. This is an absolutely false statement. I have not posted a single image or video that is AI generated.” Dia further slammed the media and the state government, saying, “The media and the Telangana government should verify their facts before making such claims.”

Among the many celebrities, Dia Mirza, who is also an advocate for SDGs, and Ambassador of Wildlife Trust of India, has been actively opposing the state government’s decision through her social media posts. On April 2, the actor shared a post on X in support of the students protesting in Telangana and said, “Students are raising their voices for a future where nature thrives. Forests, not IT parks, offer young people a chance at a sustainable tomorrow. ‘Development’ at the cost of biodiversity is DESTRUCTION. Save Kancha Forest in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.”
