Diggy was leading farmers’ agitation without knowledge of Kamal Nath

It was a flop show by senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh, as he was leading the agitation for the cause of farmers without knowledge of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Kamal Nath.

A political drama continued in Madhya Pradesh for around three days and came to an end on Sunday, after both Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Factually, as Digvijay Singh claimed, he had been seeking appointment to meet the chief minister for past one month, but could not get the time. Finally, an appointment was fixed for January 21, but it was cancelled a day before.

After Nath came into the picture, the appointment was fixed, but this time the meeting held in the presence of PCC Chief Kamal Nath.

Now, on Monday, a video of Nath at Digvijay Singh’s dharna site went viral. In the video, there is a discussion between Nath and Singh. Nath says that three days ago before going to Chhindwara, he had met Singh, but he did not mention anything regarding the problems of farmers and his raising the issue. On this, Singh tries to clarify saying there was no need to inform him (Nath) over the issue.

This clearly suggests that Digvijay Singh was trying to lead the agitation alone by his own, without taking his commander (PCC Chief) in confidence.

ment withthe Chief Minister fixed only with the intervention of Kamal Nath and there was a set back to Singh, as Nath hijacked the whole agitation and remained in the limelight during the political drama witnessed in Bhopal.
