Aryan Khan is ‘brave, wise, mature’; Amitabh Bachchan came to set in a helicopter, but he’s very humble: Babil Khan | Bollywood News

Actor Babil Khan, who worked with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan on the unreleased film The Umesh Chronicles, described him as a beacon of humility. In an interview, Babil said that he doesn’t have too many close friends from the industry, but admitted that he would play football with Aryan Khan while growing up. Babil is the son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, while Aryan is the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Babil said that his parents tried to give him as normal a childhood as possible, as he recalled going to the set of his father’s film Billu Barber, which featured Shah Rukh in a cameo.
In an interview with The Lallantop, Babil was asked if he has any advice for Amitabh Bachchan that could help him take his social media followers from 49 million to 50 million. Babil said that he is no one to give the legendary star any advice, as he recalled working with him on a film. Babil said, “I would love to get advice from him, because the humility with which he has dealt with setbacks is inspiring. He’s the prime example of how a person can grow out of pain and misery. The way he just puts his head down and gets to work… I’ve actually done a film with him, it hasn’t been released yet.”

Babil continued, “The time I got to spend with him, even if it was two seconds, was invaluable. He would come to set in a helicopter, there would hordes of people there just to catch a glimpse of him. But through all that noise, you see a human being. It’s a huge thing.” Babil said that he has met Shah Rukh only once, and that he isn’t close with the stars his father worked with. He did, however, play football with Aryan as a child.
He said, “I wish I get to meet (Shah Rukh) again. But I would hang out with Aryan. We played football together as kids. He’s a very, very brave person. He’s a strong person, a mature person, he’s a wise person.” Aryan is putting together his directorial debut, a streaming series about the world of Bollywood, which will be released on Netflix. Aryan was arrested in connection with a drugs-related case in 2021, but was subsequently acquitted. Babil can currently be seen in the film Logout, on ZEE5.
