‘Don’t sign Lukaku’: Juventus fans invade their own pitch and demand owners not to buy Belgian striker | Football News
Romelu Lukaku’s possible move to Juventus has been one of the most talked-about transfer sagas of the summer.
The Belgian striker has been linked with a move to the Italian giants for weeks; the supporters do not want the deal to happen because of his links to Inter Milan.
This was evident after Juventus fans invaded the pitch at the Allianz Stadium to protest against the signing of Lukaku.
Juventus beat their reserve side 8-0 win on Wednesday, following which the fans made their position known, storming the pitch to chant, “Don’t sign Lukaku!”.

During their pre-season friendly against AC Milan, chants of “noi Lukaku non lo vogliamo” could be heard ringing around the ground.
“Lukaku stay in Milan, we already have a second goalkeeper,” read a banner.
A swap deal was reportedly on the cards that would include Lukaku and Juve ace Dusan Vlahovic and some cash.
Lukaku faces an uncertain future. Recently, Inter Milan legend and vice-president Javier Zanetti claimed Romelu Lukaku had betrayed the Serie A giants after his reported talks with bitter rivals Juventus.
“Lukaku has betrayed us.’ he told Gazzetta dello Sport. ‘We’re very disappointed. We expected completely different behaviour Romelu, as professional but also as a man.”
