Duleep Trophy: Kedar Jadhav replaces Yuvraj Dodiya in West Zone squad
Kedar Jadhav has been added into West Zone squad. He will replace Yuvraj Dodiya, who was picked for India A team for the upcoming Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
Earlier this year during the IPL, Jadhav has been named replacement for David Willey Royal Challengers Bangalore. Jadhav had gone unsold in this year’s IPL auction and was doing Marathi commentary.
Jadhav, 38, has played 82 first-class matches and has scored 5272 runs at 48.07, including 16 centuries.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Saurashtra off-spinner Yuvraj Dodiya has bagged Central Zone’s Rinku Singh wicket in the second innings. However, the match has been delayed due to rain and Central Zone still need 262 runs to win the match with six wickets in the hut.
Dodiya, who has made his Ranji Trophy debut last year has bagged 30 wickets in six matches, including one five-wicket haul and three four-wicket haul.
